Monster Mash Bash
A Spook-tacular Day at the Lighthouse
The Lighthouse hosted its spookiest event yet, bringing chills and thrills as the hallways transformed into a “Monster Mash” for Lighthouse friends and family.
Hosted by the witching coven of Vision Rehabilitation Services (VRS), this Halloween extravaganza offered activities for all ages and senses.
From the vampire memory game in a haunted coffin to Monster Chef taste-testing with “scary” food combos, there was excitement at every turn. A giant blue dragon, created by Prescription Joy, stole the show, leading through its belly into a patio of fun and music, where kids enjoyed two bouncy houses, face painting, slime-making, and pumpkin decorating. With costumes on full display, guests added to the festive atmosphere.
Thanks to all our amazing volunteers and the Louisiana Lions Clubs, who helped bring laughter and fun to each station. Special appreciation goes to each Lighthouse team for their Halloween flair: Production Vampires, Employment Services Beetlejuice, Baton Rouge Center Werewolves, Accounting and Development Monster Chefs, and, of course, the Witches of VRS!
